Online Written Examination (Paper-1)
This paper includes General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability, Science, and Mathematics. It carries 100 marks, consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, and is of 2 hours duration. There is no negative marking. -
Technical Examination (Paper-2)
This paper is based on Computer and Information Technology subjects. It is of 100 marks and 2 hours duration. The syllabus level is Graduation level for ASI (Computer) and Diploma level for Head Constable (Computer). -
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Shortlisted candidates must appear for PET, which includes an 800-meter run. This stage is qualifying in nature only, and its marks are not added to the final merit list. -
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Candidates must meet the prescribed height and physical standards. There is no relaxation in physical measurements. -
Technical Practical Test
Candidates who qualify PET/PMT will appear in a technical practical test of 100 marks. A minimum of 30% marks is required to qualify. Marks obtained in this test are included in the final merit. -
Medical Examination
Qualified candidates will undergo a medical examination conducted by the authorized medical board to ensure physical and medical fitness. -
Final Merit List
The final selection will be based on the combined marks of Written Exam (Paper-1), Technical Exam (Paper-2), and Technical Practical Test, subject to qualifying all mandatory stages and verification of documents.
