About Post- Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), a Central University accredited with NAAC Grade “A++”, New Delhi, has released official recruitment notification Advt. No. 02/2025-26 (T) Dated 17-03-2026 for various Teaching Positions — Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor — across multiple Faculties including Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Education and Management Studies. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Cardholders. The online application process will be conducted through the CU-Chayan portal. Candidates who had applied against earlier Advt. No. 06/2023-24 (T) and Advt. No. 01/2024-25 (T) for positions marked with # symbol must apply afresh, however they are exempted from the application fee. Pay scale ranges from Rs. 57,700–1,82,400 for Assistant Professor to Rs. 1,44,200–2,18,200 for Professor.

QualificationProfessor : Ph.D. in concerned discipline + minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed /UGC-listed journals + Research Score 120 + minimum 10 years teaching /research experience as Asst. /Assoc. /Professor at University /National Level Institution with evidence of guiding doctoral candidate. Pay Level AL-14 (Rs. 1,44,200–2,18,200). Associate Professor : Ph.D. in concerned discipline + Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks + minimum 8 years teaching /research experience equivalent to Asst. Professor + minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed /UGC-listed journals + Research Score 75. Pay Level AL-13A (Rs. 1,31,400–2,17,100). Assistant Professor : Master’s Degree with 55% marks in concerned /relevant subject + NET /SLET /SET conducted by UGC /CSIR OR Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 /2016 (NET exempted).
